RPG-Girls Adventures #01 Fantasy 101 Pt. 4

Fantasy 101 Pt.4
The girls very much enjoyed their pizza break, ninja turtle quotes and all. But soon everything was going to go down hill.
The girls entered the game world. Sunrise was just stating to take place. Katie told the girls that nothing had happen during there night of rest, and that was good because two of the three girls had fallen asleep during their guard turns. Etoile had taken the morning watch. She woke the girls up a little early as she said she heard some noise but it was odd because it sounded like it came from behind the water fall. This then placed the girl’s on guard. The pond a good size and in some places looked to be five feet deep in places. The girls had a feeling that something was hidden behind the waterfall.
“I look through my magical glasses to see if there are any magical devices in the area.” Myung Tal, Jen’s character, said.
A purple dice then appeared in front of Myung Tal. Myung Tal rolled a sixteen. At this roll, Myung Tal could see a slight glow coming from behind the water fall but nothing a glowed around the pond.
“I note that there is something magical in the waterfall or behind it but nothing around the pong or by us.”
“I think there is a cave behind the waterfall.” Oakley spoke up.
“Yah, I think that is most defent. We just need to figure out how to get other there. I really don’t want to swim.” Jasalle said.
“Seeing as they where goblems, I’d think they have a little boat or some other way to get to the cave. I think I might see a small ledge, so we need to get there.” Tamora said this and then started the brush around the pond.
Oakley then looked to Etolie.
“I am the Game Master, I can’t tell you. Also my character doesn’t have the right skills to figure this out.” Etoile said with a wink to Tamora.
“Oh, oh, oh, that’s right. I’m good at finding things, like secret leavers and that. I want to make a search roll.” Tamora said with excitement.
Tamora picked up the dice from Myung Tal, it turned yellow to sign it was Tamora’s turn. Tamora rolled a seventeen, and had a plus four skill bonus topped Tamora for a win. Tamora found an odd shape rock that wasn’t a real and had a little door covering a button. Tamora then pressed the button. As she did so stepping stones raised in the pond that lead to the ledge close to the waterfall. The girls then quickly choose the order, Oakley went first because of her vision, Tamora close with Oakley to spot traps, Etoile then after guarding Jasalle and last was Myung Tal to watch form the back. They entered into a cave hall of eight feet tall and about ten feet wide but narrowed twenty-five feet ahead to be about four feet wide and gave a sharp turn. They could see a little light at the end and could smell as if someone was cooking breakfast. They creeped down the hall and started to hear raspy voices.
“I like my bacon to be crispy.” Voice one said.
“Make mine wiggly. I like my food to dance. Slump, you find stuff in bag yet?” Voice two bellowed.
“Not yet. Me knows there is stuff in bag. Saw pretty girl take out all storts of stuff. Must be simple magic to use. And keep voice down, Narf. Wolfy still sleep.” Slump said.
A grumble then was heard.
“Yes, yes, bacon for too big guy.” Voice one said.
Oakley then looked back at the group smiled, and ran to the end of the hall and round the corner and yelling her name. Tamora and Etoile quickly followed. Myung and Jasalle just shook there heads and slowly followed.
The girls found when they rounded the corner that they did not enter the cave but the game room of the club house. There was the table and on the table was layed out a crave map with their character figures and who was in the cave. Katie then walked to the master set and sat down.
“For saftly, we will always have out game fights at the table. Alicia, Crystal, as you have entered the fight area first and so quickly you two will be getting a surprise round. You will need to roll for initiative.” Katie said and as she sat Krista and Jen entered the room.
“We are all going to die now.” Crystal said, and rolled a twenty.

At the death of wolf, goblin three throws Etoile’s bag at her, then a smoke bomb and runs out of the cave. The group hears a splash but let the goblin go. Mostly they didn’t follow because they have no time and needed to end the game. Katie then started putting the game away and placed it back on the shelf in the clubhouse library game wall. As she did this Alicia noticed that there was a bag handing off the chair Katie had been on.
“So what was in Etoile’s bag?” Alicia asked.
Katie turned around and also noticed the bag on the chair. Katie then placed the bag on table, opened it and pulled out a giant opal colored egg.
“A magical star creature egg.” Katie smiled.
The girls then touched the egg.
“It’s warm.” Krista said.
“Will it be a dragon?” Alicia asked.
“I don’t know, we will have to wait for it to hatch in another adventure.” Katie said.
Katie then took it too the entry way where there was a little nest, blanket and warmer light, and place the egg in the nest and covered it with the blanket.

RPG-Girls Adventure #01 Fantasy 101 Pt.3

Fantasy 101 Pt.3
Soon the girls found themselves outside of town on the road. The trees here had changed colors and it was raining red, orange, and yellow leaves as they walked the path. Etoile, Katie’s character, explained that when they would have character tasks to do that a dice would appear and that they would have to roll to see if they achieved there tasks. The group of girls enjoyed the walked but it was short as they arrived at the spot that Etoile had come in contact with goblin.
“I am afraid I do not know where the goblin is, I do hope some of you have tracking skills.” Etoile said.
“Wait, you don’t know? But you’re the game master?” Krista asked.
“Yes, because as a game master, I can’t tell you strait out. You my ‘play’ to find out.” Katie explained to Krista.
“Oh, Oh oh,” Tamora said with excitement, “I have the perfect tool for this. I found it in the lost and found of the café. It’s a tracker tool.”
At that time a large, about the size of a soccer ball dice appeared in from Tamora.
“So I get to roll to see if it works?” Tamora asked.
“Nope, you have to roll to see if you have it. Your character flaw makes it so you don’t always have things you think you have.” Etoile replied.
Tamora picked up the dice, that turn the color yellow and rolled it across the group. It landed on the number three. Tamora then gave a half smile to the group and then looked away with some shame that she knew that roll meant that she didn’t have the object that she had talked about.
“I do have a location spell in my magic spell list.” Myung Tal said.
Myung Tal then picked up the dice; it then turned a pearl purple color. She let it roll to the ground and it stop on the number ten. Myung Tal looked hopeful to Etoile, but Etolie just shook her head. Myung Tal spell casted but didn’t show anything more then they where in the forest, and the forest was rather large. Jaselle was going to sit this out but because everything was to dirty to sit on, she just stood it out.
“Ok, let me show you how a true tracker skill.” Oakley said.
Oakley picked up the dice, that then turned forest green, and let it roll and it landed on nineteen. Oakley got a ranger bonus plus five to her roll as it was a character strength, giving her a total of twenty-four. She grinned at Etoile who gave a heavy sigh. Goblin foot prints became alight and everyone then saw right away where the goblin had gone. After thirty-feet the glowing foot prints stopped. The sun was also making it clear that it was getting late afternoon.
“What?” Oakley said looking at Etoile.
“You have to make a tracking check every thirty feet. It’s a normal ruling.” Etoile said answering Oakley.
“I want to try my tracking spell again.” Myung Tal said.
With that said the dice reappeared, is it had disappeared after Oakley’s roll earlier. Myung Tal took the dice and it turned from green to purple and rolled it, to get a thirteen.
“Sadly, you need a fourteen.” Etoile said.
Myung sighed and gave the dice to Oakley. Oakley then rolled a natural twenty, this time a light path was made.
“Show off.” Tamora said seeing the glow on Oakley’s face.
The group walked on and before they knew it they arrived at a pond with a stunning waterfall and the glowing path lead right across the water and throw the waterfall. It was now dark and the two moon in the sky was lighting the area.
“Is it really so late, it feels like we have only been playing for maybe a little over an hour. I guess we need to head home now.” Jaselle said.
“We really have only been playing for an hour and forty-five minutes. Time goes differently here in the game. I say we make camp for the night before investgating the waterfall.” Etoile said.
            “I’m hungry.” Tamora spoke up.
“Player needs beverage, badly.” Myung Tal added.
“Didn’t you say you where going to order pizza?” Oakley asked.
“I did, sort of. That is what took me so long to get here. I asked my mom to order it at a certain time and gave her the money we collected to pay for it. I bet it’s arrived now, so we should head back to my house and grab it. Unless you want me to just go get it and we will eat it here?”
“Hey look, fireflies.” Tamora said and was about to touch one but Oakley stopped her.
“Remember the last time you messed with fireflies in a Katie game?  I think we should go to your place, Katie.” Oakley, Alicia said.
Tamora, Crystal, then remembered and quickly placed her hands in her pockets. At that time a doorway appeared in the miss of dark out lighted trees. The group then all exited the fantasy world to go and enjoy some pizza.

RPG-Girls Adventures #01 Fantasy 101 Pt.2

Fantasy 101 Pt. 2
Alicia, Crystal, Krista, and Jen had now found themselves in a magical world at a nice Café, being served very tasty sandwiches and tea from some very attractive elves. You know, the lord of the rings type of elves, no the Santa workshop type of elves. The girls had no will power to say no to the cute elf when asked to order. It did take them a few minutes to order, as they had such an odd menu and also had to figure out how to pay. They soon figured out that what had been on there supplies listed on their character cards they now had on them. But they found striking is that they must have been there for a least twenty minutes but there was no sign of Katie any where. During this time, Tamora (Crystal) had been studding her character sheet. Myung Tal (Jen) was slightly engrossed with a book of spells she had found in her bag. Krista and Alicia had been making conversation over and about the two very attractive elves running the café.
“Well, we might want to introduce our characters to each other. My profile explains a little about Jasalle to me, but I have no idea would everyone else is.” Crystal said getting every onto the same page.
The other three girls pulled out there character sheets that where in their travel bags. Krista started first and read allowed.
“My name is Jasalle and I am a cleric priestess. I am from the temple of sunshine and flowers. We are well known healers and I have only known the life of the city of StarTon and my temple. I do hate getting dirty, so adventuring has never been a real goal of mine. I am out on the town giving Myung Tal, Jen’s character, a tour as she has come to work in the temple library for a little of time. Odd, my character sheet doesn’t mention your character, Crystal.”
“That is because our characters just meet. I came to the temple and you are helping me out.” Crystal said with a smiled.
Alicia then leaned back in her set and hoped to get a peek at Crystal’s character card. Alicia had skimmed her and there was a small part that was character secrets and wanted to see if Crystal had one too. Crystal caught on quickly and hid her sheet.
“Well, I am a fairly known wizard elf, Myung Tal. I am right now on a journey for knowledge and so am traveling from library to library. My travel companion is Oakley, Alicia’s character. We are some how related. Does your character sheet say how we are, Oakley?” Jen asked.
“Just says we are related.” Alicia shrugged.
Alicia saw that Krista, Jen and Crystal’s focus was on her.
“Oh, yah. I’m Oakley the ranger, half elf.” Alicia touched her semi-pointed ears in happy thought, “my character’s not very social as I prefer the woods.”
There was a bit of a pause after that before Crystal spoke up.
“I’m Tamora, a gnome who likes to explore the treasures of the world and has come to StarTon to rest before I run off for my next adventure.”
“Ah, you’re the thief of the party.” Alicia said with a grin.
“Rogue, and its not stealing if the people abandon their treasures. In any case, I’m more into mechanics.” Crystal said, defending herself.
Before any more could be said someone entered the café. It was later in the day and in-between meals so not to many people where coming in and out. But this person what someone the group had been waiting for so was very glad they took notice at her arrival. For it was Katie…the paladin? Katie was wearing semi-shinny breast plate armor and a chainmail shirt. There was a bit of dust on her but mostly look like she was wearing new adventuring cloths. Tamora and Oakley had what looked like worn cloths for some time but where clean, while Myung Tal had a little wear on the bottom of her dress but rather tidy. While Jasalle either came right from the dry cleaners or a shop.  Katie went strait to the group of girls table. Katie seemed a little out of breath and her checks where flushed and she seemed a little paler then normal.
“About time you showed up, almost felt we where going to have to get a search party for you,” Jen said.
“I am in desperate need of adventures, such as your selves help.” Katie said catching her breath.
“What is the problem Katie?” Krista said with concern.
“I am afraid that is not my name, my name is Etoile Aurora and I am a Paladin of the House of Stardust. I was on my way here to the StarTon temple, and on the road outside of town a group of goblin’s attacked me and took my sack. I must get that sack back. I went to the temple, and they told me to come here and that you girls might be able to help me. The soldiers of this town did not wish to help me just to get a sack back. Please, help me.  I will reward you the best I can.” Etoile/Katie said.
“I’m in,” Tamora said, quickly after reward was mention.
“I do wish to try out my spells.” Myung Tal said.
“Where ever she goes, I go. And means I’ll get out of the city street and back into the forest, even better.” Oakley added.
“Am, I guess I’m going too?” Jaselle/Krista questioned.
Etoile then leaned into the table to whisper to the group.
“Just to let you girls know, the more you play to your character, the better bonuses you get to your rolls. I can give you little hints and stuff for this game but for the most part you guys need to do things on your own, the game master should only do so much or the fun is gone, ok?” Katie said.

Ah, was the reply of the girls then clueing in that what was going on.

RPG-Girls Adventures #01 Fantasy 101 Pt.1

Fantasy 101 Pt. 1

The leaves in town had just started to show the slight change in color. Sweaters could bee started being worn and kids in the hallways where talking about what they where going to be for Halloween. One group very much loved Halloween. It was a time to show off there favorite loved shows by dressing up. But this year they also where distracted by something else.
“So, when are we going to play?” Alicia whined at the lunch table.
“Soon,” Katie replied and counted to draw something in her sketch book.
“How soon?” Crystal egged on.
“Sooner then later.” Katie said and this time she was getting a little annoyed.
It had been a good three weeks from the group had taken their trip to the mall and had acquired the magical game. For the first week, Katie had brought the game to school everyday and was reading a guild book from it. On the second game, Katie had gone to the school library on lunch break and would only stop by the table for a moment or two to ask questions that seemed to incline fantasy character creations. This week, being the third, Katie had come back to the table but had been drawing and coloring most of the time and would not fully show the girls what she was working on.
“The crowd is growing restless, we want to play.” Jen added.
Krista nodded while munched happily on her sandwich.
“Ok, then how about this Saturday?” Katie said closing her sketch book.
It was on. With in a few minutes the girls talked about what time would be good, who would pick up who and what kind of snacks they would bring for the happy game afternoon that would most likely go into the night but not to late as they had to return to families before ten p.m. This was decided on Wednesday and on Thursday and Friday Katie again did not sit for long with the group at the lunch table but worked on her project in the library.  Katie did pass a note around to the girls to feel free and bring sketch book and note books with them for the game night as it was going to have more of a Dungeons and Dragons game feel and they might want to take notes.
The girls arrived at Katie’s house shortly after 2pm. Making those who had chores and morning jobs where able to get them done, leaving them with the afternoon to play as they wished. Alicia had picked up Crystal and the two arrived in Alicia’s car. Jen and Krista had a parent drop them off and Katie said she would be able to take the girls home after their gaming day.
Jen and Krista had arrived at the door first. Katie opened it.
“None shall pass.” Katie said half kidding but the other you could tell Katie wasn’t.
Katie had pulled an all nighter and so looked very tired. Something Katie had a hard time dealing with, lack of sleep. Jen then held out a small bottle of Sunkist. Katie lightened at the orange soda that contained Sunkist and let the girls in. Soon after that Alicia and Crystal arrived. At the girls sat at the dinning table, they then understood why Katie had taken so much time to get them ready. On the table where self made fantasy maps, one world map, one kingdom map, and one city map. Also on the table where four character cards, one for each girl. Krista and Jen had already taken theirs and Alicia and Crystal picked theirs up quickly. Each could figure out witch ones where theirs for in the pass few weeks Katie had gotten character names, class types and race from the girls.
Alicia’s character’s name was Oakley who was a Half-elf ranger. Crystal’s character’s name was Tamora who was a Gnome rouge. Krista’s character’s name was Jasalle who is a human cleric. And Jen’s character’s name was Myung Tal who is a wizard human.
“Wait, I’m a ranger with a bad scene of direction?” Alicia asked noting her weakness.
“You have a great sense of direction when you are in a forest, you know where your favorite tree is, where to fish and the best waterfall location is. But you don’t go out of your forest much and as soon as you do, you get lost.” Katie said.
“Still doesn’t make sense.” Alicia said.
“You where curse by a gypsy as a child to always get lost because you smarted off to her about how you never get lost.” Katie, the game master, said ending the conversation.
“We really should be gaming in the clubhouse.” Jen spoke up.
“Yes, can we move to the club house?” Crystal asked.
“But I have everything set up here.” Katie pouted. “But you girls are right. Here is the key. (She handed the key to Krista as she was the closet sitting by her) Go a head and get comfy, I have to gather my things.”
Krista took the key, but did ask if Katie needed help. Katie said she was fine and there where some things she couldn’t let them see. So the girls went to the coat closet, and just light before there was a key hole to place the magical game piece key into and opened the door. This time there was another door. Alicia just surged, it had been Katie who had gone in first last time, maybe she had opened the door before the other had seen. So Alicia opened the door and stepped ahead. But instead of stepping onto the walk for the club house, Alicia found she had stepped into a medieval themed deli café. All the girls soon joined her. Also, they where now all dressed in the fantasy adventure cloths that had been on there character cards.
“Welcome ladies, what will be your order today?” A blonde haired, blue eye, very cute elf asked behind the counter.
Behind him was a large sign that read,
Opel Unicorn Café.
Start the right adventure, with the right sandwich.
