[By the Window] In Another World

So between, re-modeling my crafts room, finally getting work hours and spring, I get a new game.

I pre-ordered back in February so was trilled to get it.. two weeks ago? I can't remember. Only that is arrive a tiny bit early because Amazon and the post is awesome that way. April has been crazy for me, between family sadness and spring gladness. But back to the game, it is perfect for me. Its has aspects of what I like of social media games with out having to rely on friends helping you out all the time. You having farming, dress/outfit making, adventuring and it is all done with interaction with disney characters. But the main character is you. Awesome! I can tell is tappered more to the Japanese disney fans as it favors Lilo and Stitch, Alice in Wonderland, and Aladdin, witch I know is very big in japan. I don't mind, I love them too. Also has some teddy bears, and even some cards for Phineas and Ferb  So I think I've placed several hours into the game and acquired 96/100 goal stickers. I completely ardor the fashions you can make. Very tempted to make one maybe a few to dress up in.

I want to fill some tips here.

Rainbow Honey : Plant lots of flowers and herbs but don't collect honey for over a day, as that is how rainbow honey is made.

Big Turnips and Star radishes: I find doing Pooh's comes Unstitched, gives you big turnips and then turning them into star radishes with seed of bounty.

Secret Wands: Still working on that but you get the recipes in the castle battle area.

All in all, its a really good game. I don't how its going to last. I shouldn't be as far as I am, but its such adorable game and after 12hr of being on my feet, chillin with a game is the best thing. But now back to game and making bracelets. I'll talk about those later, along with some books. Best of luck to you.

[42 Cookies] Busy and Poor

I'm not dead. Although I don't think any one thought so but the blog it self. I've been busy on other projects at the moment. I am trying to complete a comic/story adventure project I started in 2002 but trailed off with funds and time. I still have little to no funds but it needs to be done. I like to think of it as a geeky version of the Baby Sisters Club. RPG-Girls Adventures. I'll link to the blog when I have it going more.

I do hope I can still get more able crossing but lolita and fashion inverse are talking a back set. I don't really have a stable job, like most people in the USA. And so struggling with just food money. I don't place adds on my blogs, so I don't make money here ether. Its such a headache just to try and earn a few pennies from a website. It just doesn't work out most times. I have a the etsy store and that can be the greatest help. I feel better when I can give a product over just asking for donations for my art needs and coast of running a website.

Best of luck with you all. I hope I can get animal crossing fashion up more but I need to get rpg-girls stuff done and its a LOT. (Art, writing and running a page and only one person is doing this all.)

[Pen and Paper] Derp of Cosplay Pt. 3

This is Part 3 of 3. meaning the last, so I can go back to crappy fashion blogging or animation rambles. *cough*Wind rises should have won*cough*

Derp of Cosplay

Part 3 of 3

Skype and Luluko soon found themselves outside the house of the Hobbit Katie. Luluko wanted to text door knock but saw that Hobbit was sitting on the front lawn waiting for them. Luluko took charge of driving, as she was fully done with her cosplay, and the hobbit would have scorned her if she had not been so. They where only on the road before the trolls once again caught up to the group. Lukuko who had to much caffeine in her body, decided to go into crazy car chase mode. The trolls followed suit. She managed to drive off the road, play chicken with a train, derail the train, drives off the side of a mountain, has the car jump over the freeway that was next to the mountain and into a pond.  The car manages to float because its mostly plastic casing and because off all the fabric content in the suit case. (And do to a plot whole that I don't give a crap to talk about.) The girls though they where safe and found themselves on top of the car. But as they did this they noticed a 20 foot water snake coming there way. EKKKKKKKKKK!!! Was their cry and soon two local life guards came to there rescue. One help the girls get to land while the other played with the snake. As the girls had landed into the restore pool and the snake lived in the pond as a show the life guards preformed in the afternoon. Why yes, they where very hot and aged 18 and 19. Hobbit cried a little when she realized how much older she was to them. Thanks be, Mario tow and car serve was quick to the call and got the girls back onto the road and off to the photo shoot. But Hobbit placed herself in charge of driving.  Hobbit had been luck on the road and the trolls didn't catch up to the group till they got to the city of the shoot. At this point the girls had to make a stop to relieve themselves.The trolls almost followed them as they stopped but Hobbit choose Jamba juice and the trolls where distracted by a greasy burger shop. Because the power of smoothies are so much better.  With this, the girls had enough time to make it too the shoot but the trolls where arrived right behind them. The girls ran to Anti Ai-chan and WindoftheStars.  And with there Derp faces combined, they destroyed the trolls and turned them into fans. Those a great shoot was had.

[Pen and Paper] Derp of Cosplay Pt 2

 Here is Part 2 of 3 of the fanfic to Derp of Cosplay. Please be warned: this is stupid silly.


Now we find a firey crew of derpy two weeks later and a day before the photo shoot of AWESOME. It was going to take one crazy day of driving to collect Hobbit, Luluko, and Skye. Luluko was the farthest away so would be starting the journey.  Luluko was to pick up Skye first and then the two of them would get the Hobbit (not the burglar) and then they would go to the location of the shoot. Luluko got a shinny silver rental car and was more then happy to get the road trip started. It seemed find too until she noticed she was being followed...by internet trolls. :o She decided she would take the short cut and go threw a beautiful natural park. This confused the internet trolls as they could not see going though a natural park would be a shorter way because you would get off the freeway and go to a slower speed. But they did not do there math as going through the park was less miles. Those Luluko was able to lose the internet troll. As she exited the park she made a quick gas stop where she really thought she saw the actor who played the avenger she was cosplaying by a motorcycle. Luluko soon found herself out side the nice home of Skye. When she was, being the modern woman that she is, instead of going to the door and knocking, she merely tweeted to her that she was in the driveway. Those post was faved by  Anti Ai-chan, WindoftheStars, Hobbit and then Skye who replied, "Come on, the door bell won't bite. ; )" In reply, "But I can't leave my husband." Thus Skye came out of the house to see that there in the front passenger seat was a body pillow of Chrom from Fire Emblem. Luluko then popped out of the car and took to placing her pillow to the back and sat next to it. Skye loaded her things in the back and then quickly notice Luluko had her skirt on her lap and was grabbing her sewing kit. Going like a true cosplayer, working to the very last minute. Skye was now in charge of driving and took advantage of the car pool lane. It was going smooth until two things happen; Luluko couldn't find her thread that match what she was sewing. While she search the back of the car she manage to turn around and spot the evil internet trolls following them. They had to stop for thread and were able to search out there would be a Walmart at the next exit.  The two hopped that the trolls wouldn't follow their exit path but they did. Luluko tweeted her distress and the Queen of Derp, Anti Ai-chan came to the rescue and told them, act cool and ride a hello kitty bike and collect your supplies. Weird, IT WORKS. The trolls where like so confused when the two did this and after following them threw the toy department, found toys that where poorly made and lost track of the two girls. Luluko and Skye left the trolls behind and went full road trip song for the rest of the trip to the Hobbits.

The following is part 1 of 3 short story for my fun loving cosplay friends. Although some of the people in this story are real, the events in this story are completely fake. This is pure fun, and meant to be silly. I hope those who have encouraged me to type of this up; as it was just a crazy dream, enjoy this.

School Girl Photo shoot Adventure

  We just wanted to join in on the fun, was that just to much to ask? Anti Ai-chan, the Queen of Derp, had come up with the most amazing cosplay group idea. Marvel Thor gender bend cosplay but why just stop at generic looking Thor? Better yet, school uniform Thor! Anti Ai-chan always loved to share her cosplay ideas with the world, so she quickly posted it onto Facebook. Soon there was a clamor as who would do witch Marvel character. Even some guys wanted to do some gender bender marvel chicks. But the big and the usual problem arrived, most people where just to far away to participate in the idea. Then the goddess of derp, WindoftheStars stepped up. She wanted to do Captain America and knew of the perfect location to do the shoot that was local to her and Anti Ai-chan. At this, Lulukohime; the wig princess , HobbitKatie; mystic cosplay unicorn, and PoisenSkype, the true film cosplayer had to be a part of this. But how where they going to do this? It was not a question that they would go to the shoot to complete the avengers gender bender cast, but how would they get the funds together to get the three of them to the photo shoot? Luluko was a college student, so no extra funds, Hobbit was a semi-starving artist and Skye was job jumping. Then they though of the perfect idea, kickstart. Well everyone is doing it, right? They would offer cool video of the shoot and signed character cards, what would be more perfect. So after a cool short video, some large amount of posting on all there social media sites, they managed to collect $23.42 and the goal was $1000. They had a cool plan to rent a car and travel to each other house and then to the shoot. But looks like that plan and dream wasn't going to come true. But then the evil internet trolls came up. Bashing on the fact that its just a hobby and one should pay for it. The girls agreed but also stated they didn't need to be sharing there hobby. That this project was to also support the show, Derps of Cosplay. A show that showed the fun and joy of cosplay and keeping it cool and happy. After this statement, there little dream was funded and the adventure was on.

The follow two weeks all five girls, Anti Ai-chan, WindoftheStars, HobbitKatie, Luluko and Poison Skye enjoyed sending progress pictures of there work, with derp faces.

[By the Window] Strawberry Shortcake

Long time no blog. But I took almost all week to create something so here we go.

My Love of Strawberry Shortcake Art and Cartoon

As you may or may not know I am an 80s child. So I grew up with original Strawberry Shortcake, My Little Ponies, and Rainbow Brite. I didn't have any strawberry short cake dolls (I collected My Little Ponys instead) but anytime my family would go to the rental store, I would pick up one of the strawberry shortcake VHS 1 out of 3 times. ( Other girly cartoons or Troop Beverly Hills where my other picks.) When they re-did strawberry in 2003 (?) I was excited but disappointed. She just didn't seem that cute. And I love me cute stuff.  Of late they placed many of the 2003 episodes on Netflix. I really couldn't get past more then 10 minute. It felt like Strawberry Shortcake mixed with Candyland and babes in Toy land. In the past two years they have started a whole to look (see image above) and I totally love the new style. Strawberry is herself in all way, a leader and helper to all her friends. Product placing is just how I remembered it being in the first series. *I don't mind, it pays off the artist who work hard on something they love* I like the new character Cherry Jam and so happy they where able to bring Huckleberry Pie into the new series. So in celebration, here are some Lolita fashions that I think are suited to strawberry shortcake and some Animal Crossing QR codes I made for the new series. (will do old characters in the future)
